N. Frieda

My name is Noor Vanhoe, I’m 14 years old and I live in Belgium. I have a cat , Moby and he is lovely! My hobbies are: speech –with my friends - , reading –especially fantasy, but also other books- and scrapbooking. I go to high school, Sint-Aloysius. Here I attend Greek and Latin and I am in the third grade of high school. I love books, chocolate and my friends.

My best friends are Katrien, Hannelore and Phaedra. They are all 15, I met Katrien when we were 4 years old, so we know each other very well, I met Hannelore and Phaedra 3 years ago. Hannelore and I were in the same speech group and since we discovered we love the same books, we are inseparable. One of her friends is Phaedra and that's how I met her.

 

One of my hobbies is speech. I do it with Hannelore, Katrien and Paulien. Every year we take part in Broodje Woord, a performance with a lot of pupils of the academy. It’s always a lot of fun.

Another hobby is reading, I love books! Especially fantasy –my favourites are The Twilight saga by Stephenie Meyer and the books of the Emerged World by Licia Troisi, but there are so many others!-.

Last weekend, I went to the cinema with Hannelore and Phaedra. We saw The Host, inspired by the book by Stephenie Meyer. There were some moments I really hissed because I was upset about some things, but it is a very good movie after all! After the movie we had some coffee at a tearoom. We talked for a while about the movie but also about other books we love. It was very nice.

During the summer holidays I’m going to Opatija, Croatia with my family for 2 weeks. We are going to visit a lot! I think it’s going to be great! At the end of the holidays I’m going to the seaside with my grandparents and their grandchildren for a week, it’s a tradition and it will be very nice: I love the sea! We’re also going to Tongeren, we are going to visit the museum because there is now an exhibition about the Etruscans.
